4-Type Model
The Coaching Association of Canada’s “Female Coach Mentorship Model” adds a fourth type of goal to the previous list: a learning goal, defined as the “development of knowledge or skills in an area of expertise.” An important aspect of this type of goal is to emphasize the process of learning. The idea is to not just acquire or improve a skill, but also to keep a person’s brain elastic & ready to learn, an aspect of mental health that everyone will need throughout their lifetimes.
