Summary

Growth involves a measure of discomfort as we put ourselves in unfamiliar situations in the pursuit of a goal. Learning something often means getting out of your comfort zone. Every time you engage a new muscle, use a muscle for a new movement or increase the load involved in an exercise, you experience that muscle shake. That discomfort is your muscle learning something. As that muscle practices & gets stronger, it becomes less shaky.

In a holistic way, so it is with people & learning: as we practice & get stronger at a given movement or task or skill, we feel less shaky & more confident in our abilities.
